Re-download films and TV programmes in the Apple TV app

Films or TV programmes that are included with your Apple TV channels or Apple TV+ subscription won't appear in your list of purchases. Find out how to download TV films and TV programmes from Apple TV+ and Apple TV Channels.

1. Open the Apple TV app.
2. Tap the Library tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Find and tap the film or TV programme that you want to re-download. If you use Family Sharing and want to see content that a family member has purchased, tap Family Sharing, then tap the family member’s name.
4. Tap the download button . 

Can't see the film or TV programme that you've purchased?

1. Open the Apple TV app.
2. From the menu bar at the top of your Mac, choose Account, then choose Purchased.
3. On the right-hand side, choose Films or TV Programmes.
   
4. On the film or TV programme that you want to re-download, click the download button . If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases.

Can't see the film or TV programme that you've purchased?

1. Open iTunes.
2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > Purchased.
   If you use Family Sharing, you'll see Family Purchases instead of Purchased.
3. Click Films or TV Programmes in the top left-hand corner of the iTunes window.
   If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases.
4. Find the film or TV programme that you want to re-download, then click the download button .

Can't see the film or TV programme that you've purchased?

On other devices, such as Apple TV or smart TVs, you stream films and TV programmes, so you don't need to re-download them. To stream your previous purchases, open the Apple TV app and find your library.
