How to re-download films and TV programmes on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
- Open the Apple TV app.
- Tap the Library tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Find and tap the film or TV programme that you want to re-download. If you use Family Sharing and want to see content that a family member has purchased, tap Family Sharing, then tap the family member’s name.

How to re-download films and TV programmes on your Mac
- Open the Apple TV app.
- From the menu bar at the top of your Mac, choose Account, then choose Purchased.
- On the right-hand side, choose Films or TV Programmes.
- On the film or TV programme that you want to re-download, click the download button
. If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases.
How to re-download films and TV programmes in iTunes for Windows
- Open iTunes.
- From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > Purchased.
If you use Family Sharing, you'll see Family Purchases instead of Purchased. - Click Films or TV Programmes in the top left-hand corner of the iTunes window.
If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases. - Find the film or TV programme that you want to re-download, then click the download button

How to re-download films and TV programmes on Apple TV and other devices
On other devices, such as Apple TV or smart TVs, you stream films and TV programmes, so you don't need to re-download them. To stream your previous purchases, open the Apple TV app and find your library.
