Use Keynote with a video conferencing app on your Mac

Learn how to play and share your Keynote presentation while video conferencing on your Mac.

Choose a presentation option

  • If you have the latest version of Keynote on your Mac, you can play your presentation in a window and use other apps while presenting. Choose Play from the menu bar, then choose Play Slideshow in Window. To view presenter notes in Keynote, choose one of the other presentation options below.
  • If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can use Keynote Remote to control Keynote on your Mac and view your presenter notes from your iPhone or iPad.
  • If you have an iPad with iPadOS, you can use Sidecar to use your iPad as a secondary display for your Mac. Then, you can play your presentation or view your presenter notes on either display.
