Redownload TV shows and films in the Apple TV app

Shows or films that are included with your Apple TV channels or Apple TV+ subscription won't appear in your list of purchases. See how to download films and TV shows from Apple TV+ and Apple TV Channels.

1. Open the Apple TV app.
2. Tap the Library tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Find and tap the film or show that you want to redownload. If you use Family Sharing and you want to see content that a family member has purchased, tap Family Sharing, then tap the family member’s name.
4. Tap the download button . 

Can't see the film or TV show that you've purchased?

1. Open the Apple TV app.
2. From the menu bar at the top of your Mac, choose Account, then choose Purchased.
3. On the right, choose Films or TV Shows.
   
4. On the film or TV show that you want to redownload, click the download button . If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases.

Can't see the film or TV show that you've purchased?

1. Open iTunes.
2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Account > Purchased.
   If you use Family Sharing, you'll see Family Purchases instead of Purchased.
3. Click Movies or TV Shows in the top corner of the iTunes window.
   If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member's name next to Purchased to see their purchases.
4. Find the film or TV show that you want to redownload, then click the download button .

Can't see the film or TV show that you've purchased?

On other devices, like Apple TV or smart TVs, you stream films and TV shows, so you don't need to redownload them. To stream your previous purchases, open the Apple TV app and find your library.
